5. FISHING CAMP
You hear the stream before see it. The source of the gurgling is the fast-moving water crashing through a scattering of small boulders, like Class 5 rapids in miniature.
Near the edge of the water, there’s what remains of a fishing camp.
One side of the tent has been slashed to ribbons. Inside, the wind has whipped tiny feathers from the torn sleeping bag into a frenzy. Some of the camper’s belongings are strewn along the water’s edge.
